Good middle-class Franconian cuisine - with our own butcher's shop. Roast pork and knuckles highly recommended. Staff a bit reserved, but not unfriendly. Unbeatable price-performance ratio - gladly again.

We have known the restaurant for years, when we were passing through, we enjoyed a good traditional meal here. The taste was always good, as was the quality. Now we experienced a total failure. The food was of very poor quality. The meat was so inferior, I can't even think about it. So the worst quality, as well as the taste. I don't remember ever eating this badly. My husband and I couldn't understand it, we had eaten very well here for ages. I felt as if the place was no longer run in my own hands. The conditions that had been here for years were completely changed. The advertised dish of the day, Schäufele, was supposedly out at 11 noon.

The cake was really delicious, the coffee ok. However, the service was very unfriendly. Therefore only 3 stars

We always stopped by here 35 years ago while passing through! This time it worked again. A delicious smell greeted us at the parking lot, the inn was just like it used to be and the food was simply delicious! Big praise and the price for this quality is really great! ?

The first impression after we decided to have lunch at the Rappen because of the 4+ star rating was sobering. The cleanliness of the guest room was poor. e.g. dead flies, sticky baby chair. The map is varied, but could be written in a uniform font and size. The portion size is above average for the price, but overall we found it too greasy and difficult to digest. We found the sufficient number of parking spaces directly at the house and the staff to be friendly.

Food was okay. Prices are fair. The fries weren't good though, old fryer fat? Sauce was tasty, but a little oily.

I strongly recommend the Gasthof zum Rappen. Here you can dine very well in a cozy Franconian atmosphere. A large selection of good bourgeois food is on the memory card. In summer, a beautiful beer garden also invites you to linger.

Wonderful little shady beer garden with very tasty, hearty dishes at absolutely moderate prices. Very nice and tried, friendly service. Parking directly in front of the restaurant.

Very good food, great value for money, very good portions and very cheap

It always depends on what you order. Meat is always good, but the french fries often don't taste so good. Salads always taste great and are fresh. Generally quite good with friendly staff. Beer garden is nice in summer.

Good food nice place and people

Nice staff, very good common kitchen with the traditional flair. You are in the country and there may be more hearty. I do not want to be served with the velvet glove but by a rural Vollweib, that's exactly what you get here. All in all highly recommended!

Food and drinks (beer) are great! But the rooms are not quite up to the standard... They're "oldly" furnitured, some are on the main road (very loud), and the beds are terrible (too soft and small)... So if you want to eat and have a good time, 5 stars. But if you want to sleep over, look elsewhere!
